Bug Club – September
Tampa Bay Butterfly Foundation 4111-A Henderson Blvd., South Tamp, FL, United StatesThis month, get ready to dive into the world of one of North Americas rarest insects. We will explore the habitat of the Miami Blue Butterfly, their life cycle, why they have scales on their wing, why ants are some of their best friends and how they became one of North Americas most endangered insects. All the kids will get the chance to be a citizen scientists during our bug hunt experiment and get to experience what it is like to be a wildlife biologist during our butterfly research simulation. Make sure to pack a snack and a water bottle. Kids will be outside for about a half an hour during our Bug Club. Drop off is from 1:00- 1:30 and pickup is from 3:00-3:15. Please make sure you are aware of our late pickup policy outlined in the registration. Membership is due one day before the monthly club begins.
