Little Red Wagon Native Nursery:  (Daily Volunteer Opportunity)

We currently need garden enthusiasts on a daily basis to help us support the efforts of Tampa Bay Butterfly Foundation’s conservation, research, and education efforts.  High School students welcome!

Students requiring Community Service hours, in addition to signing up for a specific volunteer opportunity:  Please complete this Student Volunteer Application Form.

BUTTERFLY ALLEY HABITAT MAINTENANCE

Volunteers are needed to assist with maintaining the Butterfly Alley habitat (4110 W. Estrella St.), located behind Little Red Wagon Native Nursery.

CENTER FOR CONSERVATION MAINTENANCE

The Florida Aquarium, Tampa Bay Butterfly Foundation and FWC's Suncoast Youth Conservation Center are looking for volunteers to assist with habitat maintenance at Center for Conservation site of the Florida Conservation and Technology Center in Apollo Beach (529 Estuary Shore Lane) as well as their Adopt a Road site along Dickman Road. 

ENCORE! TECHNOLOGY PARK

Volunteers are needed to help maintain the Tampa Bay Butterfly Foundation-sponsored butterfly garden at Encore! Park located at 1210 E. Harrison St. (Corner of Harrison Street and Hank Ballard St.) 

FRED BALL PARK MAINTENANCE

Volunteers are needed to help maintain the Rose Circle Garden Circle and Tampa Bay Butterfly Foundation-sponsored butterfly garden at 2851 Rubideaux St., Tampa, FL 33629 (next to Tampa Garden Club). Butterfly Walk - Picnic Island

Butterfly Walk at Picnic Island

Join Tampa Bay Butterfly Foundation and NABA Tampa Bay on a butterfly walk at Picnic Island. This will be free for NABA members. Non-NABA members fee: $5. Please bring payment morning of event. Address is 7404 Picnic Island Boulevard in South Tampa. Registration is required.

Tampa GreenFest

Volunteers are needed to assist with the setup on Friday, and during the GreenFest hours Saturday and Sunday at 2629 Bayshore Blvd. We will meet at Little Red Wagon Native Nursery (4113 Henderson Blvd.) and then caravan over to the Garden Club. GreenFest will be held rain or shine!

NATURE KIDS' CAMP ASSISTANTS

Adult or High School volunteers are needed to assist with our Nature Camps for children in Kindergarten to Grade 5.  Assistants are needed from 7:45 am – 3:15 pm. We will have a planning meeting one week in advance of the camp (date and time TBD).  Students under the age of 18 must download and complete the application form, below, to confirm parental consent.
